Drew is a Managing Director in the firm’s investment banking group focusing on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Over his 18 year career, Drew has developed an expertise in the energy and industrial sectors including downstream/refinery and petrochemical services. Drew’s background also includes private equity experience as a Managing Director of a private investment fund focused on mezzanine debt, and as a Managing Director at the direct investment arm of a large Houston-based family office. Drew began his career as an auditor with the accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand L.L.P. after receiving a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi in 1992. Drew is registered with FINRA as a General Securities Representative / Investment Banker (Series 7, 63 and 79).
Drew’s philanthropic involvement includes volunteering with American Festival for the Arts (AFA), the Good Samaritan Foundation, the Gulf Coast Conservation Association (GCCA), the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, The Methodist Hospital, and The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Drew lives in Houston with his wife and two children.
